Casa dos Infantes
We would highly recommend this up-to-date renovated two bedroom apartment located in the center of this walled medieval city. The apartment is located within walking distance to much of interest, including the Roman temple, the University of Evora and the San Francisco church with its world-famous bone chapel. Evora is truly a History buff’s utmost adventure. We stayed four days, but could have stayed longer. During our stay, we drove through the Alentejo’s olive and cork plantations and vineyards to Monsaraz - breath-taking vistas from the hilltop fort/castle … a definite must as is a drive to see the Cromlechs Almendres. Nuno, the owner, was most helpful and accommodating. Driving and especially parking in a walled city can be a challenge … for sure a tiny vehicle is needed. J & M Barrie, Ontario
