Cozy 2BR Apt, Hot tub, King bed, secluded, and freshly remodeled!
10/10 Excellent
"The VRBO is located just north of Auk Bay area. Many great features. We loved the hot tub. It was very clean, newer, with great jets. Perfect to relax after day of hiking. The VRBO was thoughtfully stocked including kerig coffee available for first morning after long day of travel. Very comfortable beds, newer towels, well stocked kitchen (including air fryer). Fans for the bedrooms. Nice decor. Overall very comfortable stay."
Bayside Hideaway, tucked in the forest! Clean, Cozy, Comfortable!

"Our five-day stay in Alaska was absolutely amazing, and this Vrbo rental was the perfect place to call home during our trip. The space was super clean, modern, cozy, and incredibly comfortable — exactly what we needed. The full size bed was so comfortable, and every detail made the stay feel welcoming and relaxing.Even though there was no stove, the kitchenette was perfect for our needs since we planned on eating out. It included a mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee, and snacks, which truly came in handy after long days exploring. The hosts really thought of everything. The bathroom was beautiful, spotless, and modern, fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and even a curling iron and flat iron, which was such a thoughtful touch. One of the best parts was the view of the bay right from the window — especially when the tide came in. They also generously provided access to a kayak (with a signed waiver), which made the experience even more special. To top it all off, we even got to witness a mother bear and her cub passing through in the wild — an unforgettable Alaska experience!Sonja and her husband were amazing hosts: kind, thoughtful, and attentive. We are so glad we chose this rental and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Alaska!Happy renter, Mrs. Rosalinda Barboza."
Alaska Forest Hideaway, Freshly Remodeled, Hot Tub, King Beds, 4 Bed/2.5Bath

"This was the perfect place for our extended family to stay while we celebrated my daughter’s graduation from UAS. It was the best appointed VRBO I have ever seen, we wanted for nothing! Clean and comfortable home away for home for a week!"
"The price was lower than other places in town.
A camper with two twin beds, a standing shower, a gas range, a refrigerator, and an electric portable heater.
The portable heater was adequate for heating at night.
The stove burners were lid manually with a lighter. The host came over to lend a lighter. Later I almost burned my fingers for lightning a burner.
The instant water heater produced not enough hot water for taking a shower, so we didn't take a shower for the two nights staying here.
The refrigerator was out of order.
The interior air had a stale smell. "
Organic-mod mid-century A-frame gem in pristine coastal forest setting

"Pros:This is a beautiful unique house on lush green property. We saw a black bear trapse through the plants near the house. So cool! The design of the house is incredibly unique. Corey welcomed us to the home with a sweet sign, note, beautiful flowers and chocolate. She was very good to communicate with. Cons:If anyone in your group has mobility issues, this is not the house for them. A few of the stairs were lacking sufficient railing, which did not bother our group, but may be a hazard for some others. Upon arrival we saw many dead bugs in the blankets in the top loft area. Never did we see any in our sleeping beds. We discovered that a few are bat bugs. Not bedbugs. If you have bat bugs, you have a bat infestation. We heard the bats the first night, but they were in only the very top of the house. On the third night at 2:30 AM I woke up to the sound of them scratching and squealing and fluttering very close. I don’t think one ever actually got in the house, but I never went back to sleep because I could hear them right above our heads over the noise of my sound machine. Which was turned on high volume. I was concerned that the bats were about to scratch through the foam and enter our bedroom. As I could not sleep in that house again with the fear of bats entering, we ended our stay 2 nights early. Corey was great to work with and gave us a full refund. This house would be perfect for so many groups if the bats can be eradicated. It created a very stressful time."
