Getaway Villas 38-9 is a small unit akin to a motel room within a holiday complex. Ideally located in the heart of town, it is within walking distance to most attractions. Comfortable but basic, it is the perfect getaway for a single person or couple who wish to see what Exmouth has on offer at a very low price and represents excellent value. Free high speed reliable NBN Wi-Fi and parking are available.

Air-conditioned with a modern split system. Comfortable Queen bed. Cold bar fridge, an electric kettle, some crockery and cutlery. Chest of drawers, a tv and a barbeque. Bathroom consists of a toilet, shower, and hand basin.
Alfresco area with a table and chairs in front of the villa is perfect for a barbeque.
Parking for a car and boat / trailer adjacent to the holiday village.
Please note this property has a minimum night stay of 2 nights.
Linen and bath towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels.

As a goodwill gesture, housekeepers provide a limited provision of toilet paper and cleaning items. You will need to purchase more of these should you run out and these can be obtained from one of the two IGA supermarkets located in town. This property is maintained by local property manager Exmouth Holidays. Staff are available during office hours and an after-hours phone is available for emergency assistance for in house guests. You will be contacted via text message by 3pm the day of your arrival on how to access the keys. Arrivals are after 3.00pm and check-out before 10:00am. Early check-in and late departures may be available with prior approval and are subject to availability.
Enjoy Exmouth's fantastic climate and laid-back lifestyle. Experience the delectable cuisine of the numerous local restaurants and cafes. The town is historically very safe, and one can walk alone at night with confidence. A shuttle bus and taxi service are available from the airport, bookings are required. Major rental car companies have agencies in town and a desk at the airport. For a visit to the World Heritage listed Cape Range National Park and the beaches of the Ningaloo Coast, a vehicle is necessary.
Exmouth has many attractions with the Ningaloo Coral Reef being centre stage. A lot of the nature-based tours are seasonal and very popular at certain times of the year, we recommend you contact the Ningaloo Visitor Centre, or visit their website, prior to arrival to book your tours. Exmouth has 2 local IGA supermarkets, numerous restaurants, cafes and food outlets. For entertainment and socializing there is a hotel, a resort, a tavern, and two micro-breweries with live music.

Good location, clean bed., but very rough room. Its ok for after a day of fishing, but you wouldn't want to spend time in it. There were bugs -(crickets, cocroaches), probably due to gaps and cracks. No hot water to the hand basin, incorrect plug

The room is improvised only. Main door knob pinch point area and no proper lock. Other door entrance at bathroom no safety lock. No proper Electrical outlet, only use extension outlet for TV, refrigerator, rice cooker etc.Please make improvements.God bless you all always.

We stayed in a 1 bed unit. It was very basic, had the amenities described as per online. CONS:No space to unpack clothes and belongings or to store luggage. Had to leave most of it in the car.The water from the shower leaked through to the toilet/bathroom area, there were pools of water on the bathroom floor and it was wet most the time. No counter top cooking/prep area. The bedside drawers were utilised for this. The walls are like paper, we could hear every single conversation the neighbours had. No privacy at all. Our neighbours were awake at 5am every morning therefore we were awake at 5am every morning. This was not convenient on our holiday. We asked for an extra blanket on our 1st night (only sheets on the bed) and was told to turn the heating on. There was no heating mode on the air con unit. PROS: Great location as it is close to town centre.Staff were accommodating when our towels got taken from the line as they replaced them straight away.

Starting from no signage at property indicating which direction/location the room was at (the rear) of a large property, and given that I was dropped at the gate in pouring rain, I was drenched by the time I found my room. There was a hole kicked in the wall at head of bed,the shower and bathroom were dirty, there was so much grout missing that it would be impossible to clean adequately. I showered with thongs on it was so dirty. Most fittings and furniture were so rusty, broken and in poor condition that a one way trip to the tip needed. Add to this a rip off rental, plus a booking fee, plus linen hire for 2 sheets and towels so old they were hard, plus a cleaning fee, plus card processing fee means I paid $250 a night for a room that only had one positive- it's central location. I am now at Cable Beach Resort in Broome, paying roughly double that but my accommodation and facilities here are infinitely more comfortable and clean.

Location was very close to town. The room had aircon and enough space for everything. You can walk to the bakery, IGA, and even the brewery.The property was well maintained, except our room which ended up having a lingering smell we couldn't avoid, except by leaving.

The place was not very clean and needs a lot of maintenance. The TV didn’t work and lots of mozzies
It is a great location but wasn’t very comfortable to stay in. The place wasn’t very clean (dust and hair under the toaster) and the shower leaked. The door was hard to use and mozzies easily came in and out of the room through the gap underneath. TV didn’t work and when we rang up we didn’t get any feedback if it would be fixed or not.

The location was great however the walls were paper thin. We unfortunately had a neighbour in 38-8 who had the urge to wake up at 4am and have a shower, turn on taps and have long conversations. I appreciate we can’t choose our neighbours but the units should have some sort of noise insulation where every drop of water, creaking tap or sound uttered blares into your ears. Needless to say we didn’t have a restful sleep and therefore we can not recommend this property. It will have a lot more potential if this issue could be resolved as the location was excellent and condition of the property albeit basic was clean and reasonably well maintained.
