"The view of the mountains was great from our room, but there was nothing not to like. Rooms were really clean. The receptionist was amazing, it was a busy weekend when we stayed with a race on in Mont Dore (which we hadn’t realised) and she rang three restaurants to get us a reservation. She was amazing! "Bonjour,Nous avons passé un excellent séjour,dans un cadre exceptionnel. Dépaysement assuré par cette vaste végétation et ce lac au abord de ce petit chalet. L'ombre des grands arbres nous a permis de supporter la canicule. Nous avons pu nous rafraîchir tous les jours dans le lac et faire de nombreuses activités comme du pédalo, du canoë , randonnée, visiter des cascades à 1h de Neuvic.(à Gimel)"

"We didn't expect too much. We arrived decently late and tried to call multiple times to check how late we could check in, the first 2x the phone was not answered. We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. The room smelled a bit of cigarettes and had to be aired out. The layout was complicated with steps right after the door and a seperate toilet which...

"After a couple of months staying in various quirky medieval somewhat renovated lodgings this was a real delight - modern, clean and very comfortable. And the proprietors, couldn't meet nicer and helpful people, not to mention the authentic deli thay have downstairs. Highly recommended."
