"I enjoyed this relaxing few days - the family feel and warmth made me very comfortable. The kitchen/ dining area offers a full warm drink bar tea—coffee- hot chocolate with all the fixings. My room had an amazing view with walk out patio and views of the Aurora borealis- northern lights "

"The most beautiful location I stayed at while at Iceland. Full fledged kitchen amenities provided in common room. Neat and tidy guesthouse, comfy bed and decent private bathroom. I really loved the experience staying at this location and highly recommend. Only issue if you are coming in late is check the procedure in advance or call them earlier during the day. I checked in pretty late and was not provided details about my room number and checkin procedure via phone or email. Instructions were provided on their booking page and the glass doors outside the guesthouse. However, reaching there in the dark I completely missed the name and room number attached to the glass doors and had to call the number provided inside the guesthouse. Luckily someone answered the call and guided me in the right direction. Thank you. "

"This was a surprising property for me. At first it looked more like a typical American Motel but WHOA was I surprised ! This was a beautiful establishment with kind and friendly staff, VERY comfortable accommodations , a fantastic cafe and restaurant, and a beautiful view. I was so thrilled to stay at this hotel! Very affordable as well. I loved it !"

"This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location - I don't think any other spot could match the view from the rooms here. There's no common area to gather, other than at breakfast, but there are charming spots in the hallways to sit and look out at the harbour. The breakfast buffet was very good. "

"A wonderful place to stay. It was really a mini-cabin, with a kitchenette and a couch, plus a long bench on which to lay suitcases and stuff. Very clean and very well thought-out, with a Scando interior. Bath was ultra-modern. Quiet, bright, and with big windows and nice lighting. Best of all, we got to see the Northern Lights! Would definitely stay agaibn"
