We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The atmosphere was very cozy, welcoming, and friendly. A special thank you to the amazing staff member from Poland, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She was always happy to help and even assisted us with drying our shoes after we got completely soaked while visiting a waterfall. Her kindness and attention to detail made a huge difference. The breakfast was also very good, with a great selection and...

We loved Bru Guesthouse SO SO SO much. It's very cute, clean, comfortable - with spectacular views all around. Also, I called Bru Guesthouse for some advice on the best way to get to the Skogafoss from Posmark after doing the Fimmvörðuháls hike, and the lady was so incredibly sweet. She didn't know right away but researched it, and called us back to let us know. That was very kind of her to help us out even though she really didn't have to, so wonderful people running these little cottages make...

Slightly higher price than our other stays in Iceland but definitely worth the bump up from near-hostel like experiences to an absolute joy. Our room was great, more than comfortable. They strive to create an atmosphere that is similar to "staying with a close friend" and we felt it! I loved spending time in the common area in my socks and browsing their collection of books about Iceland. Very happy we ended up here, and will tell our friends!
