"The host was absolutely lovely and very welcoming, and the home itself is beautiful with generous gardens. That said, I found the room quite small – I had to place my suitcase on the bed to open it – and the mattress was very firm, which made for a less comfortable sleep. Because the room is on the ground floor near the front door, I was woken when new guests arrived around midnight. "This hotel was absolutely perfect. Our room was spacious and plenty of space and beds for 4 adults and a baby. Great location to see the glass mosaics and Dante’s burial place. The breakfast is handmade pasties! By a real pastry chef just down the street at Casa di Paoia. Sister property. Also b&b. Coffee and tea were right outside our room. The artwork on the walls was an extra treat. If you don’t stay here, you are missing out."
