We had a great stay in Fairbanks. The house was as advertised. We were there for spring break. The northern lights were visible over the hill most nights, and the kids enjoyed the available sleds during the day.

We had an amazing time and house was perfect for our family. Norm is very helpful. The listing pictures do not do the views justice. The weather was great and the view from the driveway and upstairs were gourgous. Would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodations for a large group

We appreciated having 4 bedrooms with attached baths. The kitchen was well supplied (could have used a bit more silverware). The location is a bit out of the way, but works well to be away from the lights of downtown Fairbanks, as we had good Northern Lights Views from the property. Norm is a very nice and accommodating host.

House had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, view was amazing, fireplace was easy to use and wood plentiful. Decently outside of town but easy to get to with 4wd even in January. Views of the northern lights plus we had moose visitors! We'll be back.

Norman’s place was awesome. It was very clean and perfect for our family of 8. The view from the front yard was great and we were able to see the aurora the last 2 nights. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. We would definitely rent again.

We were in Fairbanks for our daughter's wedding. The Knoll House was perfect for our group. It was a quiet refuge in the evenings for the group to unwind. We were able to stay together and still had the space for privacy. If we were to do this again, we would definitely stay at this property.

Great cabin

Great cabin for 2 families or one big family. The house had everything we needed and grocery stores were close. Norman was available by phone and just down the road. Loved that all bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. The wood burning fireplace was really warm and cozy.

Perfect for our family gathering

Our aging family gathered in this beautiful home in a beautiful location having a stunning view. It served as home base for daytime exploration of the Fairbanks area, and as a venue for games and story swapping. We all return to our various homes carrying memories and warm hearts. One bedroom is easily handicap accessible, and the others are up stairs.

Family Trip

Norman's cabin was perfect for our family trip to Alaska. The cabin was 100% as shown. There were 6 of us traveling together and it was great to have our own rooms with private baths. The location was great for exploring the area. The cabin also has an amazing view overlooking Fairbanks. Great driveway for sledding if you visit in the winter. Relaxing getaway

This was our second stay at the Knoll house. We enjoyed it the first time and weren't disappointed this time. Just far enough from town to provide a country feel but close enough to Fairbanks to enjoy all the local activities. Norman was a very interactive host with a wealth of knowledge about Alaska. The knoll house has 4 bedrooms and each bedroom had an on suite bathroom. All the amenities of home were available. We would definitely stay again.

Well appointed, comfy house with Auroa views!

The house is well appointed (plenty of spices and cookware!) It is also spacious with plenty of storage.The beds are comfy. We especially appreciated the no stair entry and handicap accessible first floor bedroom that also has beautiful views. Most exciting was how wonderful the views of the Northern Lights from the house. There was no need to book an Lights tour. Norman was an excellent host, very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Our family had the best trip and the house was perfect.

Don’t pass this one up!

Four couples stayed here for nine days. It was absolutely perfect! It is in a convenient location, close to all things Fairbanks, but secluded with no neighbors on top of you. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, firewood was plentiful, and we enjoyed the sled. Norman, the property manager was pleasant and helpful and checked on us several times. If we make it back to Fairbanks we will definitely stay here again!

Alaskan Family Adventure

This home sits on a hill with amazing views. I have never seen a more lovely home...it's simply breathtaking. So tastefully decorated. Our 3 adult children each had their own bedroom and bathroom which is very unusual, along with the master bedroom and bathroom. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was so cute with everything we needed. We sure hate to leave our home away from home. Thank you Norman!
