"Overall, this property was excellent and makes for a nice, quiet retreat from busy life. It’s an extremely cozy, well decorated, 3-bedroom cabin setting right next to the water. The views are wonderful and the ability to relax next to the water on the home’s personal dock is flat out amazing. My only criticisms are 1) that there are a lot of bugs outside, and while this is normal in that area, the place could use a bug zapper or some other control mechanism. 2) This is definitely an out-of-the-way location, so it would behoove you to utilize the well stocked kitchen by bringing food items to cook while there. The few local restaurants operate when they feel the need and often close early.Like I said though, it was a great experience and I highly recommend the place! "

"Property was perfect for our trip! We attended a friend's 90th birthday party right down the road! Hyde County is a special place! We always love to visit the "road less traveled "!"

"This wonderful home across the street from PUNGO Unit of Pocosin Wildlife Refuge is perfect for a few days or longer! Everything you might need for an enjoyable stay is provided and the host is attentive and gracious. We will most definitely return to see more wildlife! Highly recommend!"

"The house is in the middle of nowhere, or at least very rural. It gives a lot of privacy for guests, but just know that there are bugs due to the remote area. The host was pretty up front about that, though. That said, we got a lot of value for the cost of the house and we would definitely stay here again. Nathan was prompt with responding to any queries, and it is not too far away from the OBX, less than an hour. Thank you for such a wonderful new experience in NC."

Secluded waterfront cabin w/ private dock & ramp!

"Property exceeded expectations, beautiful secluded area. Proximity for fishing was excellent with quick and easy access to the Pungo and Pamlico River as well as the Pamlico Sound! Just a short boat ride to Belhaven! Would highly recommend for a small group looking a nice scenic get away!"
