Water and Wood Properties welcome you to The Cottage! Beautiful and spacious 4 bedroom / 3 bath home with screened porch and private pier. Quiet neighborhood and stunning sunset views!

When you enter, you are surrounded by relaxing accommodations with a soothing color palette, designer touches and original art throughout the home. As you enter the home, you will find there is a wide open living room and kitchen area where family can stay connected while visiting and sharing family meals. The kitchen features granite countertops, a large refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave, toaster, air fryer, blender and a combo Keurig coffeemaker with Kcups, coffee grounds, creamers and sugars plus a tea selection. The kitchen also features additional bar seating for four.

The living room is adjacent to the kitchen featuring comfortable furniture, large sliding glass doors, designer touches, and a large flat screen mounted TV and swinging chair to sit and enjoy the birds or read your favorite book. Next to the living and kitchen is a dining area that comfortably seats 6

All bedrooms include hotel quality beds, mattresses and luxury linens. The Cottage boaster two Primary bedrooms. One with a King size bed, luxury linens and private bath with shower. The other Primary bedroom, facing the bay has a queen size bed, and private bath with tub/shower combo. The other 2 bedrooms have Queen size beds, sharing a bath with glass walled shower. All bathrooms have luxury towels and hotel soaps and shampoo/conditioner.

If you enjoy fishing and crabbing, you are welcome to bring your fishing tackle and try your casting skills at some of the best fishing in Mobile Bay! Crab traps provided!

There's also a swim ladder provided.

The kitchen was clean and the coffee that was supplied was greatly appreciated. The house was very attractive and clean. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. We felt very welcomed. Great get-away for family

The property was just as posted in pictures online, very clean and comfortable for our group of six. Perfect for relaxing with the most beautiful sunsets. Kitchen was large and well stocked with everything we needed. Bedrooms were lovely and so comfortable. Located in a nice quiet area close to Fairhope with great restaurants and shopping. Would definitely like to visit there again.

Perfect place for 4 guys on a golf vacation. 4 bedrooms with large beds 3 bathrooms worked out great. Convenient to the golf courses. Good restaurants around and some dive bars for us too.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The beds were very comfortable with nice clean linens. The dock and porch were great and we appreciated all the little extra touches around the house like coffee and aluminum foil! The kids really enjoyed crabbing and fishing. Loved, loved this home!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The host thought of everything and even provided a welcome gift. The location is fantastic. It was so relaxing to sit on the pier and watch the pelicans. I would highly recommend this home.

Great House on the Bay

If you enjoy being on the water this is the perfect house. We enjoyed spending time on the pier, relaxing on the screened in porch, and grilling out for dinner. The house is close to downtown Fairhope and Magnolia Springs for dining and shopping options. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to rent a place in the area.

Best Rental Ever

This cottage on Mobile bay is perfect for a family or girls getaway! Everything you need is provided, the place is spotless, beds comfortable, porch is wonderful as is the pier and dock. We were there for Christmas and they had tastefully decorated the already beautiful house. My husband declared this was the best VRBO we had ever found! Close to downtown Fairhope and restaurants but very quiet and peaceful. We will be back.

Perfect getaway

Property was just as described. Clean and tastefully decorated. The view is so relaxing - we spent our time on the pier, screen porch, and living area just watching the pelicans and seagulls over the bay (and an amazing lightning show) and didn't need to leave "home" for anything. We absolutely loved The Cottage for our girls’ reunion weekend. It was perfect. Better than Staying at the Beach

Our son's high school baseball team played in the Gulf Shores Tournament over Spring Break, and we decided to stay on the bay instead of at the beach. The cottage was perfect for a peaceful, quiet and beautiful Spring Break. We all spent a lot of time sitting (and sleeping) on the porch, on the pier, and by the sliding doors. The views were fabulous all day and the sunsets were incredible. If our team plays in the same tournament next year, we will definitely stay at The Cottage again.

Relaxation at the Cottage

The Cottage as the perfect setup for our family. The living area with its wall of windows faces west out on the bay and we enjoyed gorgeous sunsets. The four bedrooms gave everyone a comfortable place to sleep. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The drive along the bay road to the Cottage was another highlight. We would love to return in the summer when we could spend more time outside.
