Lakes Edge Lodge
8/10 Good
"V clean, but a bit too sparse for my liking. Cabin would benefit considerably from small additional touches. Did not have basic facilities like a bed side table or even a chair to sit in. Maybe even a bit of artwork?"
Lakes Edge Holiday Park
8/10 Good
"Upgrade with minimal fuss and the heaters were on when entered. We really appreciated that."
Mackenzie Motels
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay. Nice and clean. Very comfortable and quiet"
Haka House Lake Tekapo
10/10 Excellent
"I was very impressed with the location and our rooms. It was everything we need for our stay."
The Godley Hotel
8/10 Good
"Very centrally located, great views. Staff helpful. Id stay there without looking anywhere else next time. Make sure you get a lake view room for your wellness!"
Grand Suites Lake Tekapo
8/10 Good
"Located by Lake Tekapo, within 3 min drive to The Church of the Good Shepherd & easy access to local shops and restaurants. The rooms are well proportioned with kitchenette, bathroom and in our case, balcony looking toward Mt John. The reception isn’t staffed 24/7 but near checkin time (3pm). Staff were very conscious to advise us to read the in-room directory, which we wished we had, especially as it advised guests of the air raid siren, located across the spill way on the fire station to alert the local volunteers of an emergency, and not impending disaster. All in all, apart from the air raid siren, it was a good stay."
Skyrim Lodge
8/10 Good
"Checked into this property last minute on our trek in South Island, NZ. Very comfortable, spacious and safe neighborhood. The house/apartment had all amenities needs for you stay. We were able to wash clothes and refreshing up really well. The only thing we did not realize was that there was a washing machine, but no dryer. The property did provide a dry rack so we hung our clothes overnight and it dried perfectly. My wife and sister law loved star gazing from the back porch of the property. I highly recommend this property."
Peppers Bluewater Resort
8/10 Good
"Clean, modern and spacious room. Very comfortable stay"
Copper John, close to the Ski Fields here in the McKenzie. Quiet and private.
8/10 Good
"Beautiful location, great quiet spot to unwind and relax. Stunning outlooks and rural overview - wonderful!Over all was a well presented well equiped space. It was a little let down with finding old rubbish in bins and old food in the fridge (previous people). Also no dishwashing liquid (only an empty container) and no tea towels.I can see why so many people live this space. Would certainly come back again."
