"This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend."

"This is our 2nd trip to the mountain cabin, and it will not be our last. Everything is perfectly set for a relaxing, easy and comfortable stay. We absolutely love how private it is, and the views from each side of the house. Our favorite spot is the fantastic back porch overlooking the mountains. Patty is very responsive and helpful with anything we need. We've stayed in several different rentals around Asheville (and in other cities/states), and this is definitely our favorite."

The cabin is very close to Hwy 64 which makes getting around easy but in exchange there is quite a bit of traffic noise. The traffic noise is the only thing that made me give the “location and neighborhood” 3 start. Also, the steps really need a handrail.
