"The hotel is beautifully designed, the food is wonderful, the staff are lovely.
Two things let it down for me - the rooms do not have AC so our room was 26 degrees which made sleeping difficult. The hotel is on a main road through Cortina so having the window open to try and cool the room made things pretty noisy (which also made sleeping difficult). The communal spaces clearly are air conditioned so it feels like a miss to have not incorporated into the bedrooms in a hotel of this calibre. I heard other guests talking about the temperature of their rooms at breakfast (“sweltering”). The hotel did give us a fan but that only does so much. For late autumn/winter stays I’m sure this would be absolutely no problem but for September, it was just too hot and I left feeling not well rested after 4 nights."
"Fantastic staff and atmosphere. Beautiful views from every room looking out onto the mountains. Relaxing ambiance around the entire hotel with beautiful rustic themes."
"Staff was great. No airconditioner, fan only. It was hot. The fan some rrlief. The room is small. Good amenities, the breakfast was great. Close to everything. Parking included. Beautiful views. Very close to restaurants and shopping. no pool."
"Staff were always willing to help, very kind and patient too. Room was OK, balcony was on the smaller side, but big enough for us, bed super comfortable, slept very very well, the shower however was extremely small.
Breakfast is pretty standard pastries, toast, jams, hams, cheese etc, worked well for us.. the coffee on the other hand is not great at all, and the fruit juiceachine was all out of juice too.
We enjoyed our stay, thank you to all the staff, upgrading our room for us, finding us extra pillows, and even extra cherry jam too!"
