"It takes about 20 minutes from the airport, and the taxi driver charged us €35. The hotel is located in the centre of Faliraki. The AC and hot water work well. The breakfast is okay for what we paid. Anthony Quinn Bay is only 10 minutes away, and I’d recommend renting a car if you want to explore the area. So far, so good!"

They made us feel right at home and were always genuinely interested in asking about our day and making sure we were enjoying our stay. "Amazing cleaners, everything to a high standard. There is a shared pool that isn't advertised so there was hardly anyone there, we often had it to ourselves. Huge room. Coffee machine, kettle, iron, hairdryer all available. Only two things we would change, a small clothes hanger on the balcony would be good and the shower was difficult to regulate the temperature and the pressure but this would not put us off staying here again. Location excellent."

"Lovely stay at the Sun Palace Hotel. The pool areas and the water park were great. Lots of places to sit and sunbeds. The only problem was that the sunbeds are very dated and uncomfy, a lot of them are ripped, broken. The food always had great variety and there is something for everyone. In between meal times there are cafes which have food you can get at any point. Unlimited gyros at the water park cafe. There are a lot of drinks machines plotted around and you just help yourself which is great as you don’t have to queue at a bar waiting. Same with the ice cream. The room cleaning was not great. we selected our room to be cleaned every day and the towels were always replaced. However, the bedding wasn’t. Additionally, the bathroom was dirty and it was not cleaned once. I think they only replace towels and change bedding on certain days. The location is close to Faliraki strip and beach. It is also approximately 20 minutes away from the old town and airport in a car. There is free parking at the hotel and we hired a car which was great. Overall, great stay at a very reasonable price and the staff were friendly."

"The property is great - well laid out, not too big, and conveniently located on a lovely sandy beach. Staff are great and went out of their way to address any issues. The main thing that could be improved is the buffet - the variety of the food and the items within it were behind other places we have stayed. The lack of self service drinks also a problem. The à la carte restaurants are great, but if you are limited to one visit to each and you stay for a week, you are still eating at the buffet a lot. We are not picky eaters but found everything at lunch and dinner either covered in an unappetizing sauce, too salty, or just not appealing. If they cycled some of the main dishes from the à la carte into the buffet it would sort out the issue. Also, whilst the evening entertainment was varied and high quality, there is nothing for younger kids. A mini disco or equivalent would have solved this, and helped bridge the time between dinner and the main entertainment starting if you are with kids."
