"We had a wonderful time and would absolutely rent this property again. We have rented on SML for 30 years, and this is among our favorites. We were amazed at how much we used the pool and hot tub, and the outdoor patio space in general. The shaded seating area upstairs was pefect for all hours of the day. We also appreciated having a separate TV area downstairs, so the upstairs living room and kitchen could be used for reading and playing games. We grilled almost every night and the setup was perfect.The location was great - close to a driving range, general store, and marina with live music and a restaurant. We were able to pick up a rental boat for the week just around the corner. The host was extremely responsive with questions we had prior to our stay, and during. I would highly recommend!"

"The house was great, we enjoyed the space, especially the screened in porch. The dock top level was great for sun bathing. The dock area is crowded, extremely close to neighbors. We had jet skis and a boat and with the low water level struggled to keep them secured. A floating dock would be a great addition."

"The view of the lake was great. Relaxing, laid -back setting. They have a nice blacktop trail around the lake, bring your fishing pole and artificial bait no live bait. I was told sometimes the park rangers come down and fish with the kids.The rooms are dated but nice and clean. It would have been nice if there was a microwave and a mini fridge. They offered s'mores by the campfire which was a big hit with the kids. The Restaurant had good service and food. We spent 2 days there on our way to the beach and visited The Natural Bridge area. There was a lot more to explore so we'll be back."

"What a fantastic 5-day stay at this property! Everything was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. In addition, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. In fact, I would say that, overall, the staff was the best we have ever experienced at a hotel. We especially appreciated Ms. Teresa, who tended to the buffet breakfast each morning. She was so sweet, always greeted us warmly, and genuinely seemed to care about how our morning was going. She really helped make our mornings enjoyable. We also enjoyed the breakfast and had a great experience using the gym and laundry facilities during our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely consider staying here again when visiting family in the area."

"Our hosts were the most the fabulous of hosts! Everything that was furnished from the house to the dock area was more than I had envisioned! The deep-water dock was perfect for my pontoon rental! Cleaners was very helpful when my family left something behind and she had the cleaners look out for it, We were able to recover the item. Thank you again hosts, we will be back next year, here or another of your wonderful properties!!"

"The only thing we had an issue with was that we couldn't check in. The computer system was down and we had to wait for the manager next door to help find us a room. We never received a key for our room because of the computer system....this was no fault of the staff. Otherwise the room was great and breakfast was good."

"The house was Wounderful. Stayed comfortably with 16 people with very spacious bedrooms. We appreciate the cleanliness of the home. Host communicated information and helped to change the week we were staying. Kids enjoyed hot tub and pool. Fantastic views of the lake from the back bedrooms and pool. We were able to easily get boat and jet skis to pier, even with low water levels. Would definitely recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The private floating dock was one of our favorite features, and the calm water made it a perfect place for paddleboarding, swimming, and simply relaxing by the lake.The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. We especially appreciated the peaceful location—it was the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a few days away from the busy city.Our family truly enjoyed our time here, and we would definitely love to come back in the future. Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake cabin with us!"
