Gail who runs the family establishment and has resided here for over 60 years offers a superb service enriched with local Cornish hospitality. She runs a tight ship and keeps her staff on their toes to provide a service which exudes excellence to her guests. Breakfast is very wholesome which sets one up for the day ahead be it a days hike on the SWC or simply site seeing trips to the Lost Gardens of Heligan or fabulous St Ives with all its charm and artistic talent. I travelled solo and stayed in the most gorgeous of double rooms with the 🌞 beaming through the window in the eve ( admittedly I lucked out with the weather over BH weekend early May). Overall a superb stay and I genuinely hope to return. "

"Nicely run quiet hotel very near to the beach and a nice beach restaurant. Bit of a walk to the main town if you’re not used to it but not miles ! Small car park but street parking available too . Good breakfast. "
