Family and Pet Friendly Cottage on the Manistee River

Escape to this charming 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath cottage nestled on the beautiful Muskegon River. Perfect for up to 6 guests, this peaceful getaway offers a relaxing escape just 20 minutes from Houghton Lake and 30 minutes from the crystal-clear waters of Higgins Lake.

Enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or tubing right from the property—or rent from White Birch Canoe, only 1.1 miles away. The spacious deck overlooks the river and is perfect for morning coffee or an evening cookout. Inside, the main floor features one bedroom and a full bath, while two additional bedrooms and a half bath upstairs provide plenty of privacy.

Well-behaved, potty-trained dogs (maximum of 2, pet fees apply) are welcome. Please leash pets outdoors to protect them from local wildlife. Note: There is no generator available in the event of a power outage.
