"Loved the location. The host was amazing. Any questions I had, she immediately answered them. Starting supplies were provided and we didn't have to get much to start. We were close to the Virginia border, so I could jog to the state park, explore, and relax. I found 3 full conch shells, and other neat finds on both sides of the border. I loved how it was pretty quiet; we could read and fish and engage in beach fun. We saw wild horses (mustangs) and explored many areas. You do need 4-wheel and go in and out. I would recommend, coming on and off the island during low tide. :)"

"We had a great time here. The The house was beautiful and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and all of my family loved it and had a great time. The furniture was very comfortable and two of the bedrooms had an adjacent bathroom equipped with a jetted bathtub which a few of us enjoyed. It was great having access to the beach through the gazebo and walkway attached to it. It was very private there and although there were other people on the beach it was by no means crowded and we had a vast area to ourselves. The pool was excellent and with the weather so nice we spent a lot of time at the ocean and in the swimming pool. The host was nice and was very responsive. We had a portion of a day where the electricity went out on the whole island and we contacted the host to see what was going on and she got back to us right away to let us know what was happening. We had a few other times where we had to contact her and she was always prompt and responsive. If you plan to come down make sure that you have a good 4 x 4 vehicle because you are driving a good six or 7 miles I think on the beach to get to the property. You generally have to drive about 15 to 25 miles an hour depending on the beach conditions so it can be a good 45 minutes to get to the home."

"Running on Faith - Our first stay on the 4x4.Wow, what an incredibly clean home, updated, comfortable beds, cozy open floor plan upstairs where everyone can gather while cooking or playing games! The morning coffee sits from the deck or the 2 chairs on the dunes, so relaxing. The wild horses that love to come under the house, if you forget to put the horse net back up. Easiest walk over the dune or short drive to the beach made it wonderful for all of us but especially our kids, ages 7-16. The kitchen was fully equipped for anything we made! The ice machine and extra refrigerator were very much appreciated. Communication with the host was prompt and sincere. You can tell he loves and cares about his property. We did not want to leave but left with full hearts after a week of relaxing and making memories with family and friends. Thank you, Tim! 10/10 - we will be back!!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had amazing week. I have never seen a kitchen this well stocked! Who ever thought of the outside bathroom is a genius! Had a issue with the washing machine, contacted Laura the property manager and the washing machine was replaced that day!"
