This hotel is beautiful on the inside. Large and comfortable rooms with amazingly comfy beds that are reclining. Huge clean bathroom, tons of electric outlets in the room. The lobby and restaurant is also very stylish with plenty of space, yet gives a cozy atmosphere with lighting and a fireplace. The food at dinner was great, and there was a huge selection at breakfast. Something for everyone! They even have a games room for kids to play foozeball or Ping pong. We didn’t have time to check out the pool, but we will be back next year!

A smile and some kindness pays off

This is the kind of hotel where i’m willing to drive an extra 75 km in order to come back. Especially because of the personal at the reception. The hotel was under construction but that does not mean anything if you are welcomed with a genuine smile and so much friendly faces. Employee offered me a cup of coffee during check in, showed interest in the guests and showed maximum flexibility. 10-10. With every future visit to the Dala region I’m coming back here. Please share my complements with the front office staff, they are gold for your hotel.

You can’t predict who your neighbors will be

This hotel has a beautiful view from the upper floors, so beautiful you might want to lie in bed and just watch the clouds and trees (we spent time doing just that!). The Murphy bunks are a great idea, and more hotels should jump on that idea. We missed having an electric kettle/coffee maker in the room, but we can see space is limited. Our stay would be a full 5 stars, but they were housing participants in a middle school football / soccer tournament being held around Falun. It seemed no adults were helping the kids know about appropriate behavior when staying in a hotel. Really, this isn’t the fault of the hotel, so I should award them 5 stars simply for being so professional with these barely supervised young people. Excellent, superb breakfast. Many many stars for that. The staff were also superb.

Maten var god i restaurangen , flÀskfilé och grillad lax med goda sallader till. Bra service. Badade i poolen som var jÀttefin efter renoveringen men vattnet var kallt! FrÄgade i receptionen hur mÄnga grader men hon visste inte. Det var varmare före renoveringen. Rummet var bra med skön sÀng att sova i.Priset för rummet ligger högre Àn andra jÀmförelsebara hotellrum.

Bra men lite för varmt

Mycket trevlig och hjÀlpsam personal. Rent och fint rum med bekvÀma sÀngar. Vi hade ett problem: rummet var för varmt för att det skulle vara bekvÀmt för oss. Det var 24-25 grader dygnet runt och det gick inte att sÀnka vÀrmen. Golvet i badrummet var ett vÀrmegolv och det var MYCKET varmt. Man kunde inte stÀnga av det dÄ det saknades reglage. Personalen försökte hjÀlpa oss och sökte efter fel i datorn och frÄgade vaktmÀstaren. Vi fick först veta att man skulle hÄlla fönstret stÀngt för att klimatanlÀggningen skulle fungera. Det hjÀlpte inte utan temperaturen var densamma. Sedan stÀngde de av vÀrmegolvet via datorsystemet, men det fungerade bara tillfÀlligt och det blev varmt igen nÀsta dag - Ànnu varmare Àn tidigare. Temperaturen i rummet fortsatte att vara 25 grader. Senare fick vi veta att man behövde stÀnga av elektriciteten i rummet för att vÀrmegolvet skulle stÀngas av. Det var inget passande alternativ dÄ vi behövde ha el under natten för att ladda dator och hörapparater (som tar hela natten).

JÀttebra hotell för familjen. TyvÀrr jÀttevarmt nÀr vi var dÀr, bÄde ute (nÀsta 30) och pÄ rummen. AC verkade inte finnas och fönstret gick bara att öppna en smal springa. Kommer gÀrna tillbaka nÀr det inte Àr fullt sÄ varmt vÀder. Servicen i resturang var lite si och sÄ, men maten och frukosten var god.

Skuffende morgenbuffet, men ellers en god overnatn

PÊnt ny renoveret, smilende sÞdt personale i receptionen, behagelige senge og rart med aircondition. Der var stille og roligt om natten, ogsÄ et plus. Vi havde glÊdet os til morgenbuffetten, med rÞrÊg og bacon, men der blev vi skuffede.. Kalkunbacon og Êggene havde slet ikke fÄet nok, der var mere vÊske end end Êg. NÄr man vÊlger den nemme lÞsning med pulverÊg i ovn, sÄ skal man godt nok huske at give dem lÊnge nok og rÞre i dem - da jeg nÊvnte det for personalet, var svaret 'bare', at sÄdan var deres Êg - tyndt svar og matchende Êg!
