"This was an amazing stay. All was sensational from breakfast , room, and sunset view. I would have given the Alkyon a perfect score but the Pool Bartender was very greedy for drink sales. The first time at the beautiful pool we ordered belinis. Honestly they fell flat as they lacked bubbles and were not cold. So we opted on our next visit to stay away from alchohol and brought a couple of vitamin C rich orange juice, They came in plastic bottles so ...no worries by the pool. The Bartender informed us we could only drink beverages from the bar with exception of water upon his approval. It was dimeaning and repulsivily controlling. We decided that the beach would suffice rather than being bullied over beverages. Sad because the rest of the staff was amazing and this place deserved a perfect review untarnished by this event, We didnot think the situation warranted further thought as the Bartender touted rules that felt like a long winded excuse and we had a beautiful island to explore. The breakfast on the other hand was fabulous. The drivers, reception, and room service impeccable. Absolutly lovely."
