Inside, the open, cozy layout features a queen-size bed, cable TV, and a large jacuzzi tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The kitchenette includes a microwave, mini fridge, and toaster oven, giving you the basics to enjoy snacks and easy meals during your stay.

Step outside to the porch swing and take in sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway itself. In the evenings, relax under the stars beside the firepit, an unforgettable way to end your day in the mountains.

Conveniently located just 15 miles from Mount Airy, NC, Meadows of Dan, VA, and Galax, VA, you'll have easy access to local shops, trails, and the charm of nearby small towns. Whether you're road-tripping through or staying for a while, this romantic cabin is your perfect base.

Please note: All cabins are equipped with Wi-Fi. This is a non-smoking unit. A maximum of two pets are allowed with prior approval of our pet policy. Minimum booking age is 18.

Lonesome Pine Cabins is a charming cluster of 12 rustic log cabins tucked into the high country above the Blue Ridge Parkway in Fancy Gap, Virginia (milepost ~197), offering sweeping panoramic views of the Virginia and North Carolina foothills—including Buffalo Mountain. Located just off the scenic Parkway, these cabins are ideal for a peaceful mountain retreat or romantic getaway.

Nestled on 21 acres of wooded, rolling hills, Lonesome Pine Cabins offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and I-77, it's the perfect home base for exploring scenic drives, hiking trails, local music venues, and charming wineries and antique shops in nearby towns like Galax, Floyd, and Independence.

Our mountain properties are nestled in the woods, which means you're truly immersed in nature, it's part of the charm! That said, while we take every measure to keep our properties clean and comfortable, you may occasionally see a bug or critter during your stay along with other wild life including bears and deer. This is completely normal for a forested environment and part of the rustic experience. We recommend keeping doors closed and food sealed to help minimize visits from curious insects. If you're especially sensitive to nature's little visitors, feel free to pack some bug spray for added peace of mind!

We left a day early due to the fact there were so many things not working or broke. Fireplace, hot tub, lights and switches on lights and tub. Couldn’t use the jacuzzi tub as the drain was broken and the plug there did not fit . Water kept leaking. We had to clean the refrigerator and the microwave before we could use it. The most disgusting thing we found was when we were taking off the covers before we left there was so much dog hair on the bedbug cover that I would’ve never slept only it had I known. I was highly disappointed in this cabin. We have used Verbo in the past, me and my husband were looking for a nice trip however what we got was a miserable time. Will not use Verbo again.
