This is ENCHANTING CASTLE HALL. 🏰 The penthouse apartment is located at the top (4th floor) of The Pythian Building, locally known as The K.P. Building. Castle Hall 🏰 construction was completed in 1902 to serve as the Grand Ball Room & Meeting Lodge for the secret brotherhood society, The Knights of Pythias.

This 3000+ ft.² penthouse has stunning 16 ft. original metal tiled ceilings complimented by exposed brick & plastered walls. Uniquely furnished & fully functional with sleeping accommodations for 6. THE ENTIRE TOP (4th) FLOOR PENTHOUSE IS ALL YOUR PRIVATE SPACE!

The Grand Ballroom aka the penthouse was & still is setup as a fully functioning residence. It retains all of those qualities including complete modern kitchen that is fully stocked with silverware, glassware, cookware, big & small kitchen appliances, along with full laundry accommodations.

Only the stairwells & hallways leading up to the penthouse apartment are common areas.
Only our VRBO guests will have access to the penthouse apartment which is located on the 4th floor of our building.

The penthouse loft apartment that you’ll be staying in is that 3,000+ft.² Grand Ball Room & Meeting Lodge, called Castle Hall. 🏰

The building was finished in 1902 & was an immediate focal point of the Fayetteville, TN town square.
Lower floors were used for commercial purposes including the first public library 📚 of Fayetteville, numerous retail stores 🏬 & an insurance company which occupied most of the second floor for 75 years which is still in business but across the street from The K. P. Building.

You will certainly be staying in a piece of local & prominent history that’s uniquely decorated & including all the modern day amenities. Certainly a lodging experience not to be missed!! It truly is such a 🏰 MAGICAL 🪄PLACE!!

This is the second time we've stayed at this magical place. The location is perfect on main street in the town square. The square has tons of new places to visit. The apartment fills you with great vibes by being surrounded with all the fun and history.

This Penthouse apt exceeded my expectations. The host,Joe, met us at apt and got us checked in. He told us a little history of the building, and was very accommodating. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It is centrally located in downtown area within walking distance of restaurants, gas station, bakery and ice cream shop on the ground floor. We hope to make it back here again one day when we can stay longer, 100% enjoyed our stay!

Fun couples getaway!!

We had an amazing time! It was a surprise location for my husband. Joe, our host, was so great to contribute to the "gotcha" moment. It's such a unique set up...definitely one of a kind! We also found plenty to do in the area - a tour of the Jack Daniels distillery, wine tasting, great food and a hike to a gorgeous waterfall. Make sure to try the first floor ice cream parlor during your stay! Loved it!!

What a COOL place!

This was such a fun stay for me, my husband, Father-in-law and 2 kids ages 6 and 8. We had access to everything we needed and then some! Joe was a great host who made our stay easy and enjoyable. My kids enjoyed their stay so much that they didn’t want to leave. There was so many cool things for them to discover. I’m sure we’ll stay here again!

One night is simply not enough

Do yourself a favor, and make it a long weekend stay (at least!). We will definitely be coming back for a longer visit. There is SO much to see, learn, and enjoy. Staying in the Pythian is an experience. Take it all in. The history is incredible. Go antiquing around the historic square. Grab dinner & margaritas at the mexican restaurant...all within walking distance. You won't regret it.

So Unique

I traveled with a group of friends for a trip to the distillery in Lynchburg. I stayed at this property with a friend and the rest of our group had a nearby loft. it was conveniently located for the plans in Lynchburg. The space was excellent. There was so much history on display, plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a well appointed kitchen should you choose to cook. Everything was clean and additional supplies thoughtfully placed. The rest of our group visited us the last night of our stay and loved walking around looking at place. When any of us are in the area again, I’m sure we will be checking for vacancies here. Joe was an excellent host and generously gave us a history lesson about the building. We are so happy we stayed in the penthouse!

This place is insane! I mean WONDERFULLY insane...LOVED it!! Fully stocked, incredibly spacious, and like staying in a museum. Location is perfect! Only potential drawback (for some) might be the steps to the top floor. Host says 59, but I only counted 48...but nevertheless, that could be a problem for some guests (but wasn't for me). If you're in the Fayetteville area, this is a must stay!
