"Our one night stay was good, but the listing could use some better descriptors. It is only a one bedroom (not 2) with a living room pull out couch sofa as the second. The bathroom is really tiny, there is no designated parking (only free street parking), and you have to walk 4 flights of stairs (no elevator). All in all a perfectly ok stay. We were happy with the easy walkability to a grocery store and everything in the kitchen was great for cooking ourselves. "

"Die Wohnung war sehr kalt und wurde trotz Heizung höher stellen nicht warm ( Außentemperatur waren -11C). Die Wohnungen hatten einen unangenehm geruch ( modrich). Das Bett macht sehr starke Knarrende Geräusche das ich nicht schlafen konnte. "The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."

"Stayed in a suite for 2 nights. Everything was perfect and so convenient for everything. Train station opposite, along with plenty of taxis. Shopping was next to the hotel. Wonderful breakfast was included in our rate, and everyone was so helpful in the restaurant. The check in was perfect and once again everyone was so helpful and friendly. Not far from the cruise port, a short taxi ride away. We are already planning another stay next year!"
