"We really enjoyed our brief stay in the dog-friendly Ferienresidenz Brauneberger Hof. The small town is very quaint with a superb walking path alongside the Mosel River. Our very comfortable room had patio access to the back garden for our dogs. The shared eating area and kitchen were exceedingly well-equipped. We would definitely revisit and recommend this hotel to others."

Only ten minutes to the Moselle and 15 to Bernkastle. The owners are wonderful people and gracious hosts who we now consider our peraonal friends. "We enjoyed 2weeks in this 2nd floor apartment in a small village near Trier. The location made it easy to visit city landmarks or hike in the nearby forest paths. The apartment was very clean, well furnished and very comfortable. A special bonus was the beautiful outdoor garden, exquisitely maintained by the owners, who are on site. We also appreciated the owners’ extra effort to communicate with us in English."

"This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of the lovely city of Trier. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, and I even received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine simply because it was my birthday, during my stay. I have stayed in few finer hotels."

"We loved the pool area, but were disappointed not all the saunas and steam areas seemed to be working. The wellness area had outdated workout equipment but we loved the options for racquetball and ping pong. Getting here is a hassle if you don’t have a car. There is a grocery store and little toy shop very close to the hotel (but you’ll have to walk your groceries up hill to get back to the hotel without a car - Just a warning since we saw some unhappy faces as we drove past them). We loved the pool table downstairs in the bar and our balcony was spacious with great views. It seemed by the overall look of the hotel that it was luxurious back in its day of maybe the 80s or 90s. I didn’t mind it at all and would stay here again! "

"Fabulous from start to finish! Welcome drink on arrival, early access to our room which was in the cottage, we ate in the restaurant, the food was very good, staff very attentive and lovely wines. Swimming pool was great and the sauna. Great location and will definitely stay again."
