"Hosts are friendly and gracious. Rooms are big and well furnished. Breakfasts are delicious and stylishly presented. We also enjoyed the parting gifts of fruits grown from their field. That is a very touching gesture.
The only thing I can suggest to improve is to add some seats/chairs and a table to the balcony."

"Wonderful hosts, and very friendly locals. The owner welcomed us with traditional food when we arrived and drove us to the train station on our checkout day."

"This is an excellent place to stay while exploring the east coast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and breakfast is simple but with nice fresh fruit, and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. "

"We stayed here for three nights and had a very pleasant experience overall.
The hotel feels very comfortable, with generously sized bedrooms and bathrooms. As a four-star hotel, it offers complete facilities and thoughtful design, and the interior décor is tasteful and well maintained.
The location is also convenient—only a 5–6 minute walk to the city’s most famous night market, with a large supermarket nearby.
The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.
One thoughtful touch we really appreciated was that the hotel provides complimentary late-night soup for guests every evening, which felt very warm and caring.
The only drawback is that the windows in the room cannot be opened at all. I personally prefer to open the windows daily for ventilation, especially in humid climates, so this was a small downside for me.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and is a very good choice."
"For the price they offered so much. Multiple meals. 24-hour coffee and ice cream. Free bicycle which I took advantage of. Was happy I stayed here.
Would definitely stay here again when I revisit Haulien."
"Good room with a perfect view. Good design and it felt spacious. The staff were great. I was bikepacking and they were able to accommodate professionally."
"This is a wonderful hotel in Hualien if you come here to visit. We stayed here for four nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a nice sized room with very large bathroom and shower area with rainfall shower head. The hotel offers very nice amenities with breakfast included. Also a laundry room for guests with washer and dryer and detergent all for free use. They also have free bicycles you can use to ride the town and down the beautiful oceanside pathway for miles. We really enjoyed riding the bikes every day as you were able to see so much more. If you don't ride the bikes the hotel is very well located in the city to easily walk to the large night market for dinner and the ocean front. Both only about a 15 minute walk. There are plenty of dining options down every street around the hotel. The main train station and bus station are a short 6 or 7 minute taxi ride away. Our room also had a very nice mountain view and overlooked a temple right next door. The hotel staff are very friendly, kind and helpful with any questions about the area and sightseeing. They also provide coffee, tea and water in the room as well as in the reception area along with free snacks. They really do go above and beyond most hotels to make you have an enjoyable stay. I will definitely come back to Hualien as it is a beautiful area in Taiwan and would want to stay at this hotel again. I definitely recommend this hotel. "
"Friendly staff. Breakfast was ample, nothing amazing but plenty of options. Kind of reminded us of Grandma's home cooking! We borrowed the free bicycles several times and rode up and down the coast. Hotel is in a good location. Tons of food and shops nearby. Night market is a short walk too. Afternoon snack provided. Family friendly. Decent size rooms. Would probably return..."
