Private Family Compound with three Homes, two cabins and indoor pool/spa all on the same property with air conditioning throughout. 15 bedrooms , 27 beds and 10.5 bathrooms create capacity for a family group of up to 39 people. Smaller family groups can usually get discounts for not using all of the Main House, Caretaker Cottage, our new Orchard Keeper Cottage, two Guest Cabins and indoor pool with spa. WE'RE ALL ABOUT FAMILIES: You’re planning one of those special whole family get-togethers that all will remember for years. You need a private and safe place where multiple generations of your family can gather - perhaps to celebrate a special occasion - a landmark birthday or anniversary. Your large family requires a property roomy enough that family members can both gather together and also find privacy. Your family requires a location that offers recreational opportunities both on property and nearby Lake Michigan, Saugatuck and South Haven attractions. Crawford on Adams Family Compound was designed for family gatherings with our family traditions in mind.

OVERVIEW: The Main House has 8 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms. The adjacent former Caretaker Cottage has 2 more bedrooms with full bath. The Orchard Keepers Cottage offers 3 more bedrooms and 2 baths. Plus there are two Guest Cabins each have their own ensuite full baths. So this unique estate compound accommodates up to 41 family members with many private and semi-private spaces and large gathering areas for family meals and celebrations. All of these buildings were fully renovated staring in 2022 to a resort standard, giving your family modern, comfortable and spacious surroundings. This vast amount of private space will give your family group the room you need to dine, play and explore together, creating new family memories.

FAMILY RECREATION: Crawford on Adams Family Compound is situated on a 2+ acre estate with mature shade trees and landscaping adjacent to the cozy Lake Michigan beach town of Glenn. The property features a heated indoor pool and hot tub, sunbathing deck, a large sand box for horseshoes and corn hole, a small sand box for kids, a play house and an outdoor firepit with camp firewood and seating. There is a large fenced yard with swing set for outdoor games. So family members of all ages can relax and have fun together on sunny days, balmy summer evenings and even on rainy days.

HEATED INDOOR POOL & S{A: The heated indoor poolhouse is attached to the house and insures great family fun rain or shine. The heated pool is 32' x 16' and 4.5' at it's deepest point. In addition there is an 8 person hot tub available for adult use also inside the poolhouse. Large windows and six skylights make the pool and surrounding recreation room a bright and airy space. There is also plenty of poolside seating.

LAKE MICHIGAN BEACHES & WATERFRONT PARKS: Lake Michigan beaches and waterfront parks are abundant and very close by. A ten minute drive to the South takes you to the famous South Beach and South Haven Lighthouse. Ten minutes to the North takes you to Oval Beach Saugatuck, ranked nationally among the top 10 US beaches. And the 400 acre VanBuren State park is just 12 miles away and features beautiful waterfront sand dunes.

COOKING & DINING: For family meals the dining room and connected kitchen island offers enough table space for all to dine together, both indoors and on the outdoor deck. When you cook, the large Main House kitchen has a double stove top, two ovens, two sinks, two dishwashers and two refrigerators providing you with more than enough room for the family to cook and bake together. All the cookware, cutlery, plates and glasses you need are here for you too. A large patio is located directly off the dining room providing a perfect place for grilling and outdoor dining. We provide two gas grills on the deck and an extra tank of propane in the case you run out.

SAFETY: We recognize that all parents and grandparents are concerned about doing everything they can to protect the health and safety of their families. We feel the same way and do everything we can to give you confidence. The estate is fenced for the physical safety of children.

Crawford on Adams also provides environments that protect the health of families. First, the house is thoroughly cleaned and surface sanitized before your arrival. Then, upon your arrival, you will find that we have provided commercially laundered bed linens for your family, including freshly laundered sheets, blankets and two freshly laundered cases for each bed pillow. And we provide a supply of wipes in the case that you chose to do additional sanitizing.

At your option, offer whole house sanitation by Orkin Vital Clean a trusted third party professional sanitation service prior to check-in. Orkin's trained technicians wipe down all high-touch surfaces followed by a misting application using specialized equipment and its EPA "List N" disinfectant which is both effective against viruses including COVID-19 and also carries the EPA's lowest toxicity rating (Category IV), defined as “practically non-toxic and not an irritant. CANCELLATION & TRAVEL PROTECTION POLICIES: For all early reservations we offer cancellation and full refunds up to 180 days before arrival.

For early Spring, late Fall and winter reservations (excluding holidays) we offer flexible cancellation and refund options.

For peak summer weeks reservations are non-cancellable and non-refundable but can be changed to another date in the same year. Our cancellation policy is strict because most families book their gatherings 5 to 7 months in advance so comparable rebooking is usually not possible. Therefore we strongly recommend that you purchase VRBO's Travel Protection policy.

If you do have to cancel at any time for any reason, we will use our best effort to rebook your dates with another family to recover any uninsured loss of your investment.
