"The cabin was very clean. The location was perfect for us. We were close to relatives and friends living near there and very close to Underwood for the annual Harvest Festival and Dalton for the Lake Region Threshermen’s Days. We also found it convenient to drive to Detroit Lakes to find the Thomas Dambo Trolls. We did not have time to use the beautiful lake but the view from the cabin was awesome. Communication with the host was good although, through no fault of his, I have been having trouble with email and I did not always receive the messages in a timely manner."

"I really enjoyed my stay at The Mill Hotel and I will definitely be staying here again when I’m traveling for work. The hotel was very unique, the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The only thing I would have liked especially since I was traveling for work was a desk in the room. I ended up working from my computer in bed, which wasn’t ideal. There are tables and chairs available in the basement, but I didn’t feel as comfortable working down there. Overall, I had a great experience and really enjoyed my stay."

"Everything we needed for a great vacation. A great view, clean home and access to games and water sports (kayaks, paddle boards). Plenty of firewood provided with your own solo stove and grill. Property was great but good to note that you are very close to other guests. Clean, quiet lake great to listen to the loons. Sandy beach and docks were great too."
