"The hotel staff provided spectacular service. My flight was canceled and my wife arrived without me before the check-in time. As the room was already available they allowed her to check-in early, and turned a horrible day into a great one. The hotel is conveniently located in Badajoz and you can get to the historic center with a 10 minute walk. The breakfast at this hotel is spectacular. It was practically the best one we had in Portugal and Spain. Highly recommended."

"The lobby is so big and spacious and elegant and smells so good, bedroom is in top showroom condition, buffet breakfast is perfect. The hotel premises is bright, shiny and clean."

"Very quaint hotel, right in the heart of the old city. Very nice staff and close to various attractions and restaurants. Having a hot tub in the room was a surprise but I did not use it. Will stay at the hotel again"

"All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. They couldn't be more helpful. My room was very comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean, and had a lovely deep bath. I had a great night's sleep and went to breakfast in their restaurant which was immaculately kept, very reasonably priced and had a vast and delicious choice of foods."

"Room spelled very musky. Staff was not very helpful. Poor communication. Breakfast was OK. But you could see they were running out of things. I really hate to write a bad review and I always give the benefit of the doubt and maybe they were just having a bad time except the room did smell bad. There was no hot water in the morning and when my wife tried to take a shower, she was never able to get the hot water working the night before. Location was great, but as for the rest, if you stay here in this town, don’t pick this hotel."

"The room was lovely and worth getting a room with the kitchenette! The staff were great, Marianna did our check in and was so nice. Was good with my 2yo lad, she was excellent and couldn’t do enough for us."

"It is advertised with two restaurants, one a cafeteria. After a long hard drive from Santander to Badajoz. On arriving my partner tried to check is both in having to compete two ridiculously long forms, never having to do so before. I was seated as l am disabled they needed my signature. On here return to the desk, the clerk dicided to check in a goup of six. NOT impressed. On asking what time the restaurant was serving dinner the answer was it's closed. No expliction or apology. Use the cafeteria only to find it was in the adjoining service station. Again NOT impressed. At breakfast there was a container for hot food in which Nothing appeared in the 45 minutes we were there poor selection with over ripe bananas on disply. "
