The Cape Lévi lighthouse raises in front of the English Channel, on the commune of Fermanville. Relay between the lighthouse of La Hague and the lighthouse of Gatteville, it dates back to the beginning of the first half of the 19th century. Destroyed in 1944 during the Second World War, the current lighthouse was rebuilt in 1947. Top 28 meters, it has a quadrangular shape with curved faces. The set is made of pink granite stone and was automated in the mid 1970s. The lighthouse's surroundings are easily accessed by car, and there is a small free parking lot at the beach nearby. #lighthouse #travel #Trovember
