My husband and l are from the USA and stayed for one week in February 2026 in a room with a king size bed and ocean views. I was very nervous about going to a remote island with no chain hotels or known car rental agencies. The island businesses are completely run by locals using whatsapp. Mar em Mim had only 12 reviews at the time l made the reservation, so it was kinda risky, but l it had everything l wanted. I was so pleasantly surprised. The pousada (bed & breakfast) was exactly as pictured and the workers there are lovely. The location was great too, very quiet but just a few steps from the bus stop. We rented a car but ended up regretting paying R$600 per day while one bus ride was R$5. Our stay was exquisite and l cannot give enough praises to the entire staff. My husband is lactose intolerant and they made lactose free desserts for him every day! The breakfast was yummy, the guy managing the reception (Will) speaks english and is extremely helpful, the room had air conditioning, the king bed was comfy and the high speed wifi internet worked fine. I hope this will help other visitors make their decision. I’d definitely stay there again!

If you're looking around at the many cute pousadas you can stop now! Mar em mim is as good as it gets. Its situated just out of town a 6 minute descent to praia do americano which I am guessing is one of the least visited beaches on the island, meaning you're likely to be almost alone on it anytime you'd like. It is so quiet and peaceful, and getting to town is very easy with either the bus or taxi system, and we did not regret not staying in centro. It is very close to praias cacimba, Sancho, baia do porcos (we walked to all 3). The staff is lovely and super helpful and will make you feel at ease your whole stay, they will help you plan anything you want to do stress free. Kimberlly was especially knowledgeable and helpful to us. The breakfast is delicious and has many options available right when you get up. There are not many total rooms and they are perfectly situated for privacy and an incredible ocean view. They even made one of us an unexpected birthday treat. Very reasonable price for what you get for Noronha. Overall one of the BEST hotel experiences I have ever had and make enjoying Noronha even easier!!

Espero poder voltar algum dia.

Kleine gemütliche Pousada in absoluter Traumlage.
