- Step back in time and vacation in style at this beautifully and conveniently located Victorian gem. Built in 1878, the White House is rich with charm, character, and history—offering an authentic Ferndale experience you won’t soon forget. Thoughtfully decorated with heirloom, period-inspired furnishings, the home captures a bygone era while still providing modern comfort. The home also features a remarkable collection of vintage photographs showcasing the region’s rich heritage—from early loggers and dairymen to historic scenes of Ferndale, Eureka, Arcata, and Fortuna. Staying here feels like stepping into a living museum. Please note that this home is TUB ONLY with shower wand. Aromatic bath salts are provided for a relaxing bath. There is NOT a stand up shower.
