"Excellent breakfast, efficient and very helpful service from all staff during stay, upgrade to room looking over piazza to the Castello was great. Only missing thing a kettle for tea! Great position, cheap and quick from station by taxi- walkable for younger ones will little luggage! Close to great eating and all historic sites."

"It was more of an old hotel than antique ( things were worn like the carpet and furniture) could probably use some updating and it needs AC control for each room! It was 85 degrees for 3 days and they said the AC will begin next week. The TV is tiny for the size of the room but the make up vanity was a plus. The bed cushions and throws could be softer and balcony furniture definitely needs to be improved. It’s too noisy to leave the door open for fresh air so my nights we uncomfortably hot! II liked the location for walking and the hotel has complimentary bikes to get around! The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. I was given good directions and restaurant suggestions. I also received information for Bus and Fly from the reception and that saved me over €100 to get to the airport!! The breakfast croissants were yummy with a cappuccino to start my days! I liked that the area was local with a bar and supermarket. A bigger fridge would have been ideal to keep my own charcuterie, cheese and wine!! After all it’s Italy!!"
