"The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food...

"The room was a good size and clean, very close to the beach. Breakfast was good close to a grocery store. The only thing it was missing was a mini fridge."

"Very spacious and charming accomodation in a real and lively small town. Accomodation was not gligzy, but comfortable and tranquil.. Spacious patio would have been great if we had got more sunshine. Plenty of unpretentious great-value cafes nearby, some with own delicious pastries and fresh bread. Local 4-day festival was a bonus. Only 15 mins walk to amazing surf and beaches in picturesque Baleal. One hour drive to Lisbon. Great spot!"
