The hotel room was dated. Floors need to be refurbished. The bed was not very comfortable. I liked that there were 2 bathrooms in the room. I liked the size of the balcony, however the balcony glass was not clear not sure if was becuz of ocean mist or just needed to be cleaned. There was a good ocean view. The shower in the bedroom wet the floor every time you showered. I was not impressed and actually disappointed for a four star hotel.

This hotel is drab, with the feeling similar to that of a hospital converted to a lodging facility. It is severely out dated and lacking maintenance, as internal doors are falling off their hinges and light bulbs are burnt or fixtures out of working order both in and out of the rooms. They are currently “between seasons” and the absence of a functioning air conditioning unit has my room at 24.5°C (76.1°F). We attempted to sit in their restaurant, initially only for tea, but were told that given the nature of what we intended on consuming, we would be “better served” in the outside bar area, which was considerably louder. The staff, outside of the gentlemen who checked us in, are lacking in the space of service, and the expectation we uproot our room at midnight to swap us to another wing of the hotel is not reasonable or hospitable. The room was only stocked with bath towels in one of the two bathrooms (which oddly enough was not the one inside of the main room) and outside of a safe and a bottle of water, had nothing else. Lastly, the pillows are thin, tough, and of inferior quality, very much in line with the rest of this establishment.

Nice location with a view of the beach. Walking distance to good restaurants and gelato. Safe area for us traveling as three women. Elevator situation was a little crazy. Too many people sharing two elevators. Excessive waiting times. Took the stirs minus when we had our luggage and we were on 9th floor.

Excellent with only one issue
The suite facing the ocean was lovely. The king size bed was very comfortable. The service was excellent. The breakfast was one of the best in Portugal (at last I found vegetarian options!) and I loved the water (and cakes) they make available to guests for free. The only negative point was that the pillows (suite 610) were not fresh. The pillow cases were clean of course, but the actual pillows smelt a bit, I could smell the body odor of guests who stayed there before. My suggestion is that they pillows are washed too and not only the pillow cases. There is a bit of wear and tear (but very little) and that's typical of all Portuguese hotels, even the high quality ones. Maybe they suffered a hit during Covid, but all luxury hotels I have stayed in Portugal, all of them had wear and tear.

The hotel was well equipped and cleaned to a high standard. The food, particularly the evening meals, was superb. The staff were well trained and very obliging. The swimming pool was a little bit too small and became rather crowded at the weekend, however the view from the pool was amazing. We will definitely return.

Everything is up to our expectation. Nice staff, room is clean and roomy, half board meals are great. Take a walk in the morning along the broadway and the beach to watch the waves is a good experience. I only stayed one night this time, should stay one more day to enjoy the pool on top floor with great views and tour the neighbourhood.

There’s to many good things to list. Stay here for sure. The staff treats you like you’re their only guest. Very attentive to your needs. The only thing I could ding this hotel on would be some of the wood flooring was damaged and needed fixed. The rooms aren’t perfect the hotel as a whole is wonderful. If we come back…we’re staying here all day everyday.

Loved Figueira da Foz! And this hotel, the walkable location, the view from a big balcony, the top floor pool and steam room -- an unbeatable deal. I did grab a taxi from the bus/train station, as it's probably a 20 minute walk which with luggage I didn't want to do, taxi was under 6 Euros.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The property is new and nice. The location is great, close to center of Figueira but, not to close…. The rooms are very simple but spacious and confortable. The staff is very professional and courteous. I highly recommend it.

From the greeting when we walked in to the facilities and how accommodating they were about our early arrival everything was awesome. If you are traveling to FDF definitely consider staying here, its a great location and an awesome value for the money.

We reserved a luxury room with an amazing view. That was pretty much it. There was no coffee machine, no robes, no flipflops, mini bar was poor, no service to the rooms after 19h, the bed was conftortable but there wasnt a protector for the matress..there was a big empty living room, no carpet, no decoration, hard and unconfortable small sofa. The windows were dirty. The cleaning lady knocked once and opened the door at 10h am while I was getting out of the shower and the checkout is at 12h. Breakfast was included but when you reserve they ask you if you want breakfast with an extra fee but it was free for everyone. They dont ask you witch room your are at. Its quoted like one of the best hotels arround and I don't understand why. Nice view but really bad experience.
