"I had a great stay at the Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel, but what happened after my stay is what truly earned this 5-star review. A couple of weeks after checking out, I realized I had accidentally left my Bose speaker in my room. I submitted a lost-and-found inquiry, and Kimberly Johnson, Assistant Director of Housekeeping, responded the very next day. She was professional, responsive, and incredibly pleasant to work with from start to finish. Kimberly quickly confirmed that my speaker had been located and went above and beyond to help get it returned to me. She allowed me to provide my own prepaid FedEx shipping label, which saved me money compared to using the hotel’s third-party shipping service. Throughout the process, she kept me informed, provided photos of the item and package, and even sent confirmation once it had been dropped off with FedEx. What impressed me most was Kimberly’s genuine commitment to guest service. She made what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless and handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Kimpton Tryon Park should be proud to have employees like Kimberly representing the hotel. She turned a lost item into a memorable customer service experience, and her efforts absolutely deserve recognition. Thank you again, Kimberly, for going above and beyond! 👏👏👏"
