"Thankfully, I booked a premium room- which has very clearly been redone in recent years. The bathroom and bed was lovely- but truth be told, the hotel itself is so, so old and outdated. Lack of lighting, dark and do finger… you could also smell the scent of cigarettes in the lobby. It literally felt like an old hospital/psych wards… I’d recommend it if it’s a quick one night stay, but sheesh- weird, and overpriced for what it was…"

"No pub, no restaurant, rundown and tired. 1970 it would if been lovely. One set of rooms upgraded, called superior:Not. Just a wee bit more modern"

"Breakfast very good. Receptionist was excellent. Bar area and staff great. Pool had leaves and insects in it. Didn’t give 5 out of 5 as no lift."
