"The manager (possibly the owner) was lovely. We had a lake view room, which was beautiful once the fog lifted. It’s an easy walk to nearby restaurants, and we stayed for two nights on our way to and from Milford Sound—a great place to stop. The unit was clean and very well renovated, and we were pleasantly surprised to have an ensuite in the two-bedroom setup. The only downside was the underfloor heating. I loved it, but my husband and daughter had trouble sleeping, even with the window open. We asked if the temperature could be lowered, but the only option was to turn it off entirely, as it takes 24 hours for the floor to cool. Thankfully, they slept better the second night once the heater was off."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – Incredible Stay! I stayed here with my two little kids and we had such a great time! The staff were absolutely amazing—so kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Travelling solo with young kids can be tough, but they went out of their way to make things easy and comfortable for us. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. A special shoutout to the breakfast and restaurant team — the food was delicious and the staff were incredible with the kids. It really made a big difference to our mornings! We’ll 100% be staying here again."

"This is the best one night stop if visiting Te Anau for a short stay! All the bells and whistles for a luxury stay. On the lakefront, walkable to the village and has a knowledgeable hostess with so many tips for the best places to eat and play! Thank you ☺️ "
