My only thing would be it needs an umbrella or some sort of shade option for the balcony/pool area. Also the pool was not inviting and didn’t feel nice to sit in with all the peeling paint. This was a real let down for the money that we paid "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Afroessa Hotel. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire visit. They made getting around Santorini so easy and were always happy to arrange car service whenever we needed to go somewhere or be picked up. The view of the sea was absolutely amazing and easily one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood that felt very safe, while still being close enough to Fira to easily get to restaurants, bars, and everything else going on. It was the perfect balance of being able to relax and enjoy the beauty of Santorini without feeling too far from the action. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Afroessa!"

It is walking distance to restaurants yet out of chaos, breakfast was beyond delicious and staff couldn’t be more helpful! "We loved Sophia Suites!! We stayed in the Privilege suite and it was a really cool layout with lots of space for 4 people to sleep. It could even work for 5 (2 king beds and a twin bed in a private area). It was very clean. The only thing was a bit of lack of privacy, as the flying dress photoshoots happened right outside our room (this was fine for us though). On the upper level with the pool, it was more private. Vera was a WONDERFUL host!! She regularly checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay and helped us book an amazing sunset boat cruise that we will never forget! She was very sweet with our kids, as well. The breakfast was great and a lot of food, delivered to our room. We enjoyed the pool overlooking the blue domes and caldera. It was a spectacular stay! Thank you Vera for your hospitality, we hope to come back again soon :)"
