"Great price for the area. Our room had no fridge nor other appliances but it was essentially just to spend the nights as we were visiting family in NY, so not a deal breaker for us. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Only downside was the parking! No on site parking and good luck finding parking after 8pm :( overall I really enjoyed the location and will be rebooking whenever I am back in NY!"

"We stayed for 7 nights total. It was a perfect area to get around easily using public transportation. 24 hour bodega next door. A little seedy late at night but I didn’t feel unsafe once in that area. The A/C unit worked great and the hot water was very hot. It does reek of weed sometimes."

"Do yourselves a favor and don’t repeat our mistake. Due to a flight delay getting into JFK we decided to stay here for the night as it was a short drive from the airport and it was too late to take the train we had planned on taking. The photos on Expedia looked nice enough for one night of rest before continuing our journey. But the place is a dump. It reeks of stale cigarette smoke and I probably got 4 hours of sleep at most due to the noise from the street and waking up coughing due to the air quality. We had to switch rooms from our original room because of stains and cigarette burns on the bed. Second room was better but by a slim margin. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough in the morning, and hopefully didn’t get sick. The gentleman that checked us in was nice, probably because we were a welcomed departure from their usual clientele. I would not stay here again."

"The hotel has such potential but the care of the property left me disappointed. I booked the room for two people, however they only provided towels for one person. Each day I had to ask the housekeeper for a second set of towels. I was required to pay a $35 daily usage fee to cover wifi and a pastry and coffee each morning from the cafe. However you were only allowed one pastry and one coffee despite the fact there were two people in the room. It was very awkward and felt "cheap". The entry light to the room was burnt out and I had to request it to be replaced. The most concerning was the fact the deadbolt to the room was broken. The staff said it would be fixed the day I reported it, however it remained non-functioning for my entire stay. The location was great and the building itself nice, but the management needs to step up to provide a better and safer experience for their guests."
