Tea coffee whitener jug provided. Also small guest kitchen area.TV lacked rabbit ear signal. Online booking and quick simple ask for key on arrival and deposit in container on check out. "

"Not as good as expected. Had many issues with room that were annoying: -9 little lights on switches and a larger power button on bedroom mirror prevented the room from getting dark (just small night light in bathroom would have been more than sufficient) -Shower had a rain head (with we do not like) and the other head is a “bar” which puts out a “strip” of water. Does not work well. -Sound insulation was OK - could hear quite a bit from other rooms -Loud creak in floor at foot of bed -Door stop missing rubber end so you have a sharp metal rod sticking out -No extra blanket in room (we like a little more weight) -Need to log into internet every 24 hours (with a common password). More common now to log in with name/room numbers for duration of stay. Yet another reason to use a VPN with weak internet security like this. -Fire alarm evacuation one night with no explanation (assume that we were not at risk) Did not try the restaurant/bar - menus were not appealing to us"

"Don't use expedia and pay for protection with a weather event you can't forecast, money down the drain. Rang the hotel they couldn't change due to expedia, just deal with the hotel in the future"

"Road noise was terrible next to the main road in Cambridge. Had terrible night sleep. No shower curtain. The fridge was not stable when opening it. It was cheap deal for a king bed and single bed though."

"Started badly arrived 15 min early , no one in the office , rang the number on the board advised that we were there to check in was told check in is 2pm and we would have to wait Not impressed have stayed here three times over recent months never again Shout out to the cleaning crew though they were awesome"

"Where do we begin? Our personal experience of this hotel was nothing short of perfection. The location with the lake situated behind it was gorgeous (even in the rain). The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The bed was probably the comfiest bed we have ever slept on and the breakfast... The Riccotta Pancakes and the Croissant French Toast were the best breakfasts we have ever had. We'll both miss those greatly. The location is also great if you are wishing to visit Hobbiton as it's only (roughly) a 30 minute drive. It's a good hub point. The town is roughly a 10/15minute walk where you can find some great restaurants (Such as Alpinos!) We cannot wait to comeback. "
