"The smell of stale cigarette smoke was so heavy in the room that I went down the street and bought a couple of cans of air freshener, hoping that it would mask the odor. It was terrible. The baseboards were very dirty, a sign to me that the room is not properly cleaned. Walking around on the floor left the bottom of my feet very dirty, another indication that the floors weren't cleaned very well. The towels were very thin and rough. The toilet seat was broken. The hot water worked in the sink, but not the shower. There were no tissues. The curtain over the picture window was hung the wrong way. The couch was frayed and dirty. Sitting outside by the door was a dirty old chair and a rocking chair. The entire property felt and looked run down, as though it is barely being maintained. The only reason I chose to remain there was because it was the closest place I could find to Bellingrath Gardens - I was going to an evening event and didn't want to drive very far in an unfamiliar area. The Manager was a nice man, but that's not enough to make me want to ever stay there again. "

"This was a great house for my family of 5! Very comfortable beds for all. Farmhouse table was great for celebrating a birthday! The walk to the beach was super quick and the view from the back deck was really great. Good selection of beach equipment. The communication with Donny was quick and effective. We would definitely stay here again."

"Wow this beach home was right on the beach with the serf just feet away! The home was really stocked well with towels, kitchen appliances and gadgets. I liked how the kitchen, eating area and living space was all together with the bedrooms upstairs. The owner must have a flare for decorating as this was so lovely! We will be renting again!"

"Unimpressive beach view, kitchen was comically cramped, the place was littered with tacky beach artifacts, which seemed absurd don't they didn't provide any useful beach amenities like towels, chairs, or umbrella."

"The house had everything we needed and was perfect for a large group. LOVED being right on the beach. One of our group caught a hammerhead shark! Highly recommend."

"Great area, we were able to see the ocean from the house and it was a short walk to the beach. We had plenty of room for our family. Place was clean. Host was very helpful before the trip, giving us ideas as to what to do and places to see. Great place!!"
