Everything is home made starting from the butter and bread. They also serve a special of the day which is a creative sweet or savory dish. Leisure Island as a destination is a must in South Africa due its beautiful scenery and relaxed atmosphere. I can highly recommend!"

"This was an all around amazing experience. We stayed in the whale suite which had amazing views of ocean and cliff sides. We saw a pod of dolphins before dinner. Dinner was made there by an excellent chef. Highly recommend staying here."

"Following our intense 5 day hike in the mountains My wife and I had a 1 night stay at The Knysna Belle to rest and allow our bodies to breathe and recover. Michelle was super helpful knowledgeable and wonderful and she took great care of our comfort indeed. The place is beautiful set in a tranquil environment with Knysna heads visible and Mesmerising. "Easy - the best place to stay on the Garden Route, easy. Huge place, has it all, first line in front of the beach, endless balcony space, huge rooms, spacious bathrooms, spotless clean - it has it all. And Marisa is the nicest host! Not even a single bad thing to say, just perfect."

"Unfortunately not as expected. Needs a lot of work done. Not maintained and very porely managed. Well below expectations considering the price. Staff is sitting around on the cell phones or playing games on computers during working hours in the hotel lobby. "
