"Hotel complex was beautifully presented and watching the sun set from the main pool/restaurant was amazing.
Our room was modest, but nicely furnished.
Our only real issue all stay was a tardy response to requests. Not quite 5 star level.
We asked about extending our stay and they finally replied at 11:30pm, by ringing our room and waking us up. Very peculiar and unprofessional!
Fiskardo is a sensational base from which to explore. The harbour is so picturesque.
We enjoyed a day trip to Vasiliki."
"The hotel is located in a lovely little village with a harbour and lots of very good traditional restaurants. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable and all have large balconies with beautiful views across to Sami and the island of Ithaca. Our room had a huge bed and had a great power shower and fluffy white bath towels. It was all very clean and well maintained. The pool was very clean and had plenty of seating areas, although not a lot of shade which is what we prefer. It was very quiet (early June) which we really enjoyed as it made for a very relaxing holiday."
"Sami Beach is a great hotel, in an excellent location for accessing restaurants etc in Sami. It has a nice beach front, uncrowded and relaxing, and a lovely, well maintained pool. We hope to return."
"The place is very convenient but lots of amenities needs extra payment. Only had one bad incident which the cleaning lady just entered our room while we were sleeping. The ocean view was not there even when we paid for that side. Aside from that every staff was very nice."
"Staff were all very friendly and very nice. rooms are a little bit old but comfortable . Location is great and nice little pool that seemed like our own private pool. Will stay here again."
"Afroditi was an amazing host, we had such a wonderful time staying with her in Agia Effimia. We were welcomed, shown around our room and given detailed recommendations of things to do on the island. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and had a fantastic view of the marina. Her son, Gregory also has a fantastic cafe on the front with a discount for guests staying at the Ionian suites - the food was great. We had a lovely time, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality Afroditi!"
