"Property was very tired & furnishings etc not as per photos.Upon arrival one of our guests filled a brush & pan with all the dead flies & that wasn't all of them as we left some for the cleaners to sort! Several cockroaches in the bathrooms too.Cheap 2 in 1 shower gel.Property Managers advised that the property was cleaned that morning so it was disgusting to find so many in a short time - all over the beds & floors etc upstairs. Assured us that a pest bomb had not been set off as that's what it looked like due to the amount around. Message on the fridge advised that there would be the "Odd Fly or cockroach" being it is a rural setting but this was ridiculous. Broken drain in shower & spa bath jets broken too - evidently cleaner advised them of that about 5 months ago & still not fixed. Gardens were a bit unkempt & the lawns could have also done with a mow. Pool hadn't been cleaned for a while either. Didn't go near the tennis court to see what state that was in.Great setting and perfect for a group - it was just a pity it was not quite as described. Property Managers were great & tried to raise issues with the owners who were NOT willing to refund any part of our booking for the less than expected or desirable conditions we found the property in. It is marketed as a luxury home & we felt it wasn't.Would definitely NOT recommend this property to anyone unless you get a significant discount or are happy with dead flies everywhere & cockroaches in the bathrooms. "

"I stayed three nights at the Beach Villa in Riversdale Beach and it was excellent. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable with a lovely homely atmosphere and is only a short distance from the village centre and beach. The amenities at the Villa also include a washing machine. I would thoroughly recommend the Beach Villa to anyone wishing to stay for a holiday break in Riversdale Beach. "
