The Most Beautiful Vacation

Exactly as Advertized
This is the perfect place for two people to stay in this gorgeous area. Boone is a really pretty place to visit as well as a large number of other state and national parks around. House was located on top of a mountain at the end of a gravel road. 3 other cabins at the top of this secluded mountain, but you can easily keep to your own personal cabin (this one had the best spot however).

If you are looking for a relaxing, cozy getaway-this tiny home is perfect! The views are absolutely beautiful and you have everything you need to enjoy your stay! The house was very clean and the owner is very quick with communication which made things seamless! We will return soon!

Tiny Home Winter Getaway
My fiance and I stayed at the Tiny Home just 20 minutes from downtown Boone. It happened to snow that day and the views were just magical. I would suggest you bring extra blankets for warmth. The home is a perfect getaway from two people looking for a quiet space with beautiful mountain views.

Quality over quantity!
For such a tiny place, it packed a punch! The views were to die for, small inside of course but had everything we needed. Great directions for getting in, close to Boone but far enough to feel remote. Gorgeous!

BOOK IT! Stunning views, calming atmosphere, and everything you need
We enjoyed three nights at this amazing place… and by our second day, we never wanted to leave! Such a peaceful area... Looking out at that mountain view with a loved one by your side is like therapy. Lol Loved the surrounding Christmas tree farm! The listing is very accurate. This awesome host provides everything necessary for you to cook, eat, shower, sit, sleep, make coffee, watch tv, surf the web or just unplug and have a great stay! The floor was very clean. We LOVED the rustic design and couldn’t stop looking at all the reclaimed wood and metal used on the interior! My husband and I were so happy spending our anniversary here and would love to return. Things to be aware of if it’s your first stay: It is a somewhat remote area so it would be best to make your first trip up the mountain in the daylight. It is a very tiny house, so don’t expect spacious… Think cozy and intimate! The futon bed didn’t have enough “give” for my husband but I was very comfortable. *The following comments are NOT complaints, only suggestions for future guests of things you may want to bring along: -Lighter for gas fire pit -Hair dryer -Air freshener for bathroom (no ceiling fan/vent) -Blanket to add to the lightweight one provided -Ear plugs if you have superman hearing like my husband (it was cold weather so he could hear the heat pump running at night) Many thanks to the host for our first VRBO rental! It was perfection.

Tiny house with a great view
The place we stayed had an amazing view and was very relaxing weekend. It’s about 2 miles off the main road partly paved roads but a good part was one lane gravel road. Definitely a great place to get away from it all. It was smaller than we anticipated but we had never seen a tiny house except on tv. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit on the deck while watching the sun raid or sun sets. Great time would recommend

Tiny Vacation in a Tiny House
We had a great time of shopping and eating at all the local places nearby. The weather was perfect and couldn't have asked for a better View of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You could see for miles. Watching the sunset was amazing and being above the clouds that settled in the valleys in the morning was spectacular!

Perfect Tiny House
We loved our stay at the tiny house. We had everything we needed for our stay and the directions were clear and very easy to follow. The views were absolutely amazing! The stargazing was great too- we were lucky to have clear skies for one night of the meteor shower. Everything about this cute tiny house is perfect! It is very remote only one way in and out which was a gravel road and we thought by the view that there was 2 sleeping areas when it was just a futon if I had known the directions in the beginning I would’ve never rented it people who have Vrbo should give access to directions much sooner then the day before it would make things much easier

Ouch! I'm sorry that a remote getaway with spectacular views was not for you, Patricia. I feel like the concerns you expressed are all made clear through the listing photos and description, and you also have the option of asking questions of the host, and I always respond in a timely manner. Instead, you arrived and expressed dismay only then. And I gave you a refund which I did not have to do per the booking policies! Nearly 100% of my guests have left 5-star reviews, so perhaps your harsh words reveal more about the traveler than this unique and special property in one of the most beautiful locations imaginable!

Totally enjoyed our stay. After a long day of trout fishing and scouting future fishing locations it was nice to fall into such a relaxing place with an outstanding view. Just what we needed, a low key relaxing experience. Great for two people. Very clean, HVAC, TV and internet worked just fine.

GORGEOUS VIEW
This was such a fun experience! Me and my boyfriend love staying in tiny homes and when we first got there it was pouring rain but we woke up in the morning to an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains and a sunrise that was unforgettable. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good view of the smoky mountains, as I felt like we were staying on top of a cloud. Only thing I will add is my boyfriend is 65 and he bumped his head a few times on the ceiling, but other than that everything was fabulous I would recommend to anyone.

Glad you enjoyed the views, Payton. The ceilings are about 7 feet at the entryway under the loft, but the living area is almost double that to clarify for future guests. It feels very spacious for a tiny house!

The perfect getaway from a busy life.
Do you need a break from everything? Do you just need some space? If you need some time away for yourself to just relax and unwind? This mountain view is the getaway you've been daydreaming of everyday staring at the clock on your phone after lunch at work wishing you could just walk out the door and take the weekend off. This stay is just you and the mountains, no busy city life, no sirens and planes, just the silence of the mountain top and the open sky's above you. The mountain views out the windows are breathtaking, and the sunsets slowly fade to dark stary lit skies at night. The stay was amazing, and I can't wait to go back. The house is sitting perfectly up at the top of the mountain, surrounded by trees and sky. The wooden porch has 2 steps leading up to it and 2 chairs sitting around a fire pit to sit at and warm yourself at night, or for sitting and drinking coffee at early in the morning as the sun lights up the sky. The sound of rain on the roof at night will have you drifting off peacefully at night. There is a large round sink to wash your dishes at, hot stove pads under the sink to warm up breakfast or cook a small meal on, the toaster oven has settings ranging from: toast, to bake, to convection oven and airfry. The bathroom has a barn door that opens and closes to it, with a cute tiny window to look out if you pull the curtin back. The shower curtin separates the shower from the toilet, and there's just the right amount of space to store toiletries and shower products. The beautiful wood interior is warm and relaxing. Theres fan on the ceiling to cool things down, though with the ac unit on the wall you won't need it. And for heat at night for those cool winter months, there's a toasty warm heater under the coffee table that is sure to keep you nice and toasty all night long. There's a small table against the wall and two wooden bar stools to sit at and work at, with the large open windows staring off into the mountain distance that will inspire anyone looking out at the breath taking views all around them. There is a coffee pot ong with the right assortment of dishes and cooking wear, you can stay and cook, or go down off the mountain and enjoy any of the numerous dinners and amazing local restaurants around Fleetwood and the surrounding towns. The day-couch pulls out at night into a full bed, with pillows in a basket up in the attack space and sheets and a quilt under the bed in pull out drawers. I had the most amazing time.

Amazing view and close to areas
Our stay was perfect! The tiny house has everything you need and has the most beautiful views. We were able to see the sky full of stars at night. We’re so grateful that we could stay here with our two dogs. The cabin is about 15 mins from Boone and between 30 min to an hour to national parks. We were able to visit Roan Mountain, Elk Mountain, Grand Father Mountain, and Jeffress Park. If you are into trails this is a must stay. Also, take your time to check Boonshine Brewery, the beer is great and also really cheap!!

Great base for hiking and exploring nearby NC and VA mountains. Nice view of sunsets from the deck. The portable induction burners allow for multiple cooking options in a small space. Great for 1 or 2 people looking for a quiet place to recharge and explore.
