Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Nà An could be a piece of cake or it could drag on forever. We've compiled some tips that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a great experience if you pack the right stuff. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a fresh set of clothes and a few magazines. Next, leave space in your carry-on bag for your mobile phone, a charger, medications and perhaps a neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to take your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and strong acids, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft are no place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfy clothing and go for shoes that are closed-toe, flat and easy to pull on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
