"Stayed at this property for a ski weekend at the local resort. It was a great location (10 min drive both to the ski resort and the local town). We appreciated the opportunity to have a peaceful and beautiful place to stay that was away from the ski resort crowds. Our kids loved the games that the host had making s’mores in the firepit near the lake. The house is beautifully done. There was a maintenance concern (beeping fire alarm) during our stay but the host promptly addressed the issue....

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was close to Ski Brule and town. It was easy to find and came with lots of helpful extras, such a a high chair, pack n’ play and extra blanket. The kitchen was fully stocked, including a set of bottles and kids dishes. It was clean, the beds were cozy and the garage was a great perk as a big snowstorm hit while we were there. Would highly recommend this place to couples or families."

"We had seen other parts of the U.P., but not western. Perfect spot to see it all! Super clean and comfortable, everything we needed! Appreciated the charging stations in each bedroom, that was a nice touch! We didn't have the opportunity to cook there, but if we wanted to, everything was thought of. Cute little house!! "I highly recommend this beautiful home for your family get-away. The pictures do not do it justice. We stayed with our 5 young adults (age 16-22) and the layout of the house was perfect. The kids could split up- playing pool and listening to the jukebox in one room, sitting in front of the fire reading in another, playing board games at the dining room table, etc. It was an easy drive to Ski Brule. "Host is super responsive and the property has pretty much everything you need. The lake is pretty small, but super clear and great for bass fishing! Personally, I feel that the “sleeps 12” is a stretch, and think the furniture and beds would not be adequate for that many. Inflatable mattress needs to be replaced as it deflates within a couple hours. Loved the touch of having puzzles and movies available, as it was great to have during rainy times. Overall, really nice place to spend our week!"

"I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay! This home was SO lovely, clean quiet & comfortable 😌 I loved it all from the gorgeous huge bathtub in the master to the quaint gathering area on the back porch(i would have liked the fire table to give off a bit more heat on the coldest day) but still enjoyed it. The beds pillows blankets & couches were all so comfy! A dishwasher would be a nice amenity haha but my daughter's did the dishes for me so yay! It is in a GREAT location close enough...

"This property is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet and nature! We love to cook, so the kitchen and the grill provided us with everything we needed. We used the wood-burning stove for a cozy warm fire at night and we built a beautiful campfire outside as the snow fell! "This house is so big but also so cozy feeling. There is so much space for kids to run and play while the adults relax. The house had everything you’d need, they even thought to leave extra toothbrushes and toothpaste (Perfect for my forgetful teen daughter) and a pack n play stored in the extra large mud room that greeted us after playing in the snow.
