"Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Room was nice, mostly clean (except for a large spattering of hair on the shower wall) and comfortable. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful and that always makes my experience somewhere extra special. Only real complaint is that I could never get anything to eat at the hotel despite its website advertising breakfast. Oh well. Not a huge deal because the hotel is a stone’s throw from plenty of places to eat. I’d definitely return here."

"What a beautiful little hotel! Comfortable beds, a great view from our balcony and an even better view from the top floor terrace. Air conditioning was very welcome. I especially appreciated Rudy Gonzalez’s friendliness. We got a refreshing cold towel when we arrived and he helped us book a fine tour to Tikal the next day."

"Good location and comfortable rooms. Not too spacious and a little dated - but it’s an older hotel, so expectations managed. Beds firm, but actually very good. Helpful staff, including getting you to the airport early. Front desk is 24/7 so when you have an early start for Tikal, it’s nota problem and the will provide you a packed breakfast of fruit and banana bread, plus water. Good breakfast as well, if you are around for it. Don’t forget the rod garden too, with views to the east of the lake"
