My wife and I connected with her several times, including in advance of booking to see if the cabin was suitable for our Milky Way viewing adventure that required our setting up at at a clearing two miles from the cabin at 4 a.m. She filled us in on the lions and bear situation and details of access. We encountered a flash blizzard on the way to Florissant killing our hiking plans, so she gratuitously let us in early. The cabin was comfortable and my wife really enjoyed the contemporary pellet stove fireplace. Although it was 70 when we arrived in Denver, it was 0 at 4:30 AM when we filmed the Milky Way, so being able to fire up the stove in a few minutes after we returned at 5 AM was really blissful. We slept in the bigger bed, which was quite comfy. We made breakfast in the kitchen every morning. It felt like we were living the idyll. "

"We had the best time at Whimsical Dreams! We were in town visiting family, so my only complaint was that we didn’t get to spend as much time as I would have liked at this charming cabin! Everything was perfection. First of all, it was adorable and very clean. Secondly, there was plenty of fun things for our kids to do. They loved getting to hang out in the kids fort. The view was so peaceful and you really had to look to see neighbors when you were on the back porch. The bed in the primary bedroom was so comfortable and my kids loved the kids bedroom. The check in process was very easy, and the host was very responsive to messages. I would recommend this cabin to anyone staying in the Florissant area, and would love staying here again if we are ever back for a visit. "
