"There was nobody there to guide us to where we were supposed to go. Fortunately, there was a staff there, it is a plastic surgeons building, that was able to contact somebody with the villa who gave us phone instructions on how to open the door and where actually the room was. They apologize and said the manager is usually on top of things, but apparently at this time there was a glitch. Things happen. "For what it is, this is one of the nicest places I have stayed."

"We stayed for two nights and initially paid extra for a larger room, but unfortunately our experience with that room was disappointing. The air conditioning unit continuously blew cold air and could not be properly controlled. Maintenance came and simply unplugged it, which wasn’t an acceptable solution since we wanted the option to turn the AC on and off as needed. The room also appeared worn and not very clean, with noticeable issues on the walls. We had concerns about the shower curtain as well. After we complained, the staff moved us to a standard two-queen room, which actually cost less than the room we originally booked. While the replacement room was fine and met our needs, there was no discussion about a refund or reimbursement for the price difference. On a positive note, the hotel itself was generally clean, and the breakfast was good. They also hosted an evening social hour with complimentary food, wine, and beer, which was a nice touch. The property was quite crowded during our stay, with many children and youth groups present, so it wasn’t the quietest environment. Overall, the staff addressed our room concerns by relocating us, but I was disappointed that there was no compensation offered after we paid more for a room that had multiple issues."

"The staff was excellent and accommodating. Never had an issue. Right off the parkway so had things in either direction to see. Not too long of a drive to gulf shores beach. Only two drawbacks were we had a 3 day stay, and the sign in the bathroom mirror says rooms will be serviced every other day. We never had housekeeping come in our 3 day stay. The other is- the walls are thin and the hotel was booked. You could hear every dog bark, loud conversation and heavy footsteps. It's not so bad if you didn't come to stay in the room, until dogs bark at every sound at 3 am. Breakfast did exactly was it was supposed to do. Our flight ended up getting delayed to the next day after we checked out, so we came back and stayed a 4th night, which says it all. Good stay, would recommend if you are visiting the area."

"Property was in good condition and well maintained. Staff were all great. Room had a small kitchen which was nice. On the downside, the fire alarm was pulled at 5:00 a.m. Went off agin about 5:45 and again shortly thereafter. Made for a long day, but not their fault. Later in the week we were there, a LARGE group of cheerleaders came in to use the sports complex next door. That made use of some facility areas not so pleaant, but they were all orderly and quiet by about 10:00 p.m. Just be aware the properrty is close to a large sports complex and amusement area. Could be a lot of kids at times and variable experiences. Would go back again."
